HONOLULU (KHON2) – It has been six months since the Water Supply Council called for the immediate need to conserve water in the Aiea-Halawa and Metro Honolulu areas. BWS continues to ask customers to voluntarily reduce their water usage by 10% during the hot summer months and since there are three fewer water wells due to Red Hill fuel contamination.
The 2021 State of Hawaii Data Book released last month includes Oahu’s top 25 water users using estimated monthly averages. Annual dates have been revised to a fiscal year calendar ending June 30.
